Lanzendorf site continues to grow

With the construction of a new workshop including office and social areas as well as a warehouse, Felbermayr is investing in modern infrastructure and additional capacity at the transport and lifting technology site in Lanzendorf. From the first demolition work in November 2025 to completion at the end of 2026, an ambitious schedule must be met. 

The new building was preceded by extensive preparatory work. In addition to soil characterization, the existing hall in the area of the new workshop was dismantled. Due to the difficult soil conditions, soil replacement measures were also necessary. The broken concrete material from the existing outdoor facilities and the old hall was processed directly on site and reused as a frost box and bulk material. In total, Felbermayr earthworks specialists moved more than 30,000 cubic meters of material. By the end of 2026, a workshop of around 4,000 square meters with a height of 13 meters will be built on the site. In future, two indoor cranes, one with a lifting capacity of 20 tons and one with a lifting capacity of 15 tons, will be used on the crane runway, which is located at a height of ten meters. 

The approximately 2,000 square meter warehouse will be moved into as early as this summer. It is equipped with four indoor cranes, two with a lifting capacity of 30 tons each and two with a lifting capacity of 15 tons each. The workshop is complemented by a modern office and social area of around 550 square meters.

“With the additional storage capacity, the new workshop and the modern office and social spaces, we are creating the best conditions for our employees. At the same time, we can react even more flexibly to the requirements of our customers,” says Division Manager East Christian Wallner.

A photovoltaic system with a maximum output of 300 kilowatts peak contributes to a sustainable energy supply at the site.
