Management expanded with Christoph Nüßler
June 30, 2010 | Markus Lackner
Christoph Nüßler has worked in the transport and hoisting technology sector of the Felbermayr consortium for 14 years. With the construction of the first Felbermayr branch in Germany he started to climb up the career ladder in the Wels family company. A further significant step for the University of Applied Sciences for Transportation graduate was a change from Nuremberg to Lauterach in Vorarlberg where Horst Felbermayr entrusted him with the management of the newly acquired transport company BauTrans in 2002. "I'm sure it was not easy to move the centre of the whole family's life to Lauterach at such short notice", comments Horst Felbermayr about Nüßler's decision.
With the integration of BauTrans Kft. Hungary in 2004 and the founding of BauTrans AG Liechtenstein in 2005 he was given further management tasks which grew further with the appointment as commercial law manager of BauTrans in 2007 and the nomination as manager of Felbermayr Deutschland GmbH in 2008.
The positive development of the orange fleet now brought Nüßler into the picture for the line up of the management of Felbermayr Transport und Hebetechnik Geschäftsführung GmbH, therefore Nüßler rounded off the first management rank alongside Horst Felbermayr, which also includes Wolfgang Schellerer and Peter Stöttinger. Furthermore Nüßler has been responsible for Felbermayr Schweiz AG as a director since May.
"I am pleased to be able to work alongside my long time companions Schellerer and Stöttinger and thank Horst Felbermayr for this act of faith." However Nüßler will continue to remain faithful to his successful employees - his area of responsibility includes primarily the former BauTrans locations which are therefore also moving a little closer to the Felbermayr core company.
The son of the Chief Executive also called Horst Felbermayr will incidentally continue to manage Felbermayr Bau GmbH & Co.KG with around 600 employees.
