“As a general and general contractor, Felbermayr assumes overall responsibility for planning and implementing major construction projects. From the initial concept phase through coordination of all specialist disciplines to turnkey handover, the Felbermayr department acts as the central point of contact for building owners and investors,” says Andreas Pupeter, setting out the orientation of the new “business” in his area of building, industrial and power plant construction.
More security through integrated project responsibility Since
Felbermayr combines integrated planning and execution under overall responsibility, there is no need for complex coordination between several contract partners. For clients, this means a clearly defined contact person, transparent processes and reliable structures throughout the course of the project. Quality, deadlines and costs are comprehensively managed and actively monitored. “The close integration of planning and execution enables us to identify economic potential at an early stage, to minimize financial risks and to make investment decisions on a reliable basis. This provides maximum planning and budget security,” explains Diethard Schranz, who heads the newly created “General Contractor” department.
Everything from a single source
The particular strength of the Felbermayr Construction division lies in its extensive range of services, distinctive competence structures and the associated high internal value chain. Numerous segments such as building, civil engineering and special civil engineering as well as the ancillary construction sector, waste management and building materials recycling are part of the Felbermayr Group. This high level of in-house performance creates control over quality and deadlines, increases implementation speed and reduces dependencies on external interfaces.
Partnership-based project development and execution on equal
terms The “General Contractor” department focuses on close cooperation with building owners and investors. Projects are not carried out in isolation, but are thought and developed jointly. “Our aim is to implement economically viable and technically excellent solutions that create sustainable added value — economically, ecologically and socially. In this way, we guarantee investment security and long-term project success,” underlines Schranz.
