Valuable insights into the apprenticeship

An apprenticeship with a future

You would like to ensure that your child is working for a stable company with prospects for the future, will be well taken care of and can develop personally and professionally. That’s exactly what Felbermayr offers.

CEO Horst Felbermayr on the benefits of an apprenticeship: “By training our own apprentices, we can train new blood that matches our operational requirements exactly, a decisive benefit in an age of a shortage of specialists. Apprentices play a vital role in the future of Felbermayr. They bring new perspectives and ideas that, when combined with the experience and expertise of existing employees, are highly valuable to the development of Felbermayr.

For anyone who would like to start with us: With your apprenticeship at Felbermayr, you’re laying the foundation for your professional future. Use your apprenticeship to learn, to ask questions and to develop further. Mistakes will and are allowed to be made. The important thing is to learn from them and not to worry about trying things out and asking for help.”

Together we are stronger - within the team, we work respectfully and honestly with each other.

We place great importance on punctuality when getting to know each other in person. If the appointment is not possible, please inform us in good time.

Yes, you are welcome to accompany your child to the interview. However, we do request that the interview itself takes place only with the applicant. Your child is therefore able to present themselves independently – an important first step into working life. Of course, we’re happy to answer your questions subsequently.

The apprenticeship takes place directly in our company – on the building site for the apprenticeships for craftspeople in the construction area. It is supplemented by attending a vocational training college, which takes place in blocks or weekly depending on the apprenticeship. Our apprenticeship representatives are happy to provide more details.

That depends on where you live and on the transport connections. Many of our apprentices use public transport, a bicycle or a moped. We’re happy to check for possible carpools for apprentices who are completing apprenticeships in construction.

In addition to the regular apprenticeship training, we offer technical further training sessions, personality seminars and, if required, tutoring.
