Multimodal heavy goods logistics at Breakbulk Europe

“The response was excellent,” sums up Peter Stöttinger, Managing Director of Felbermayr Transport and Lifting Technology, and continues: “Our stand was well attended throughout, and we were able to reach numerous visitors with our multimodal logistics solutions. “The quality of the discussions was particularly pleasing – both with long-standing partners and with potential new customers. For Stöttinger and the Felbermayr team, the trade fair is a fixed date in the calendar – not least because of the opportunity it provides for professional discussions about international heavy goods logistics. Particularly noteworthy in this regard are solutions involving the trimodal Felbermayr port terminals in Krefeld on the Rhine and Linz and Vienna/Albern on the Danube, as well as the PSA Breakbulk joint venture in the Port of Antwerp.
Subsidiaries and sister companies as co-exhibitors
As in previous years, sister companies and subsidiaries were also represented at the stand, including Haeger & Schmidt Logistics with Managing Director Heiko Brückner: “The close cooperation within the Felbermayr Group is a real added value for our customers. In the maritime group in particular, we offer powerful, scalable solutions along the entire supply chain – from European seaports to the hinterland,” he emphasises. Other companies represented at the stand included HSW Logistics, Best Logistics, Bau-Trans and Wimmer Maschinentransporte. The trade fair appearance was once again complemented by cooperation with PSA Breakbulk from Antwerp. This meant that a competent solution could be presented for almost every logistical challenge.
Communication and cuisine
A special highlight was the booth party. Freshly prepared Kaiserschmarrn brought the good taste of Austria to the exhibition stand and created a convivial setting for intensive discussions. Several hundred portions were distributed – a complete success across the board.
After three intense days at the trade fair, Felbermayr can look back with satisfaction on a successful event – and looks forward to seeing everyone again next year.
